For the 2004/05 winter season, Whistler Blackcomb invested $14.2 million in

on-mountain improvements, introduced 1,100 acres of new terrain on Whistler

Mountain, unveiled a fully redeveloped Creekside base, hosted the 2005 Snowboard

World Championships, and launched a Superpipe on Blackcomb Mountain,

lit for night skiing and riding.

NEW numbers - Whistler Blackcomb. Over 8,100 skiable acres. One vertical mile.

 

Two mountains connected by a pedestrian Village. More than 200 trails. Three
