The Chateau Whistler Golf ClubYour Mountain Golf Experience - Carved out of the mountain slopes at the base of Blackcomb, the Chateau Whistler Golf Club has an elevation gain of more than 400 feet. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the 18 hole, par 72 course traverses rushing mountain streams and features spectacular views. New in 2000 is the next generation Pro-Shot GPS yardage system, featuring colour graphics, electronic scorecard and "to the pin" yardages. Pro-Shot also provides yardage accurate to within 1 yard distance to and over hazards, and other basic information traditionally supplied by a caddie. The system speeds up play and helps with decision making. The facility features a complete restaurant and lounge area with a patio, a golf shop, and locker rooms. Golf Digest named Chateau Whistler Golf Club "Best New Canadian Golf Course" in 1993. The readers of Golf Digest rated it "4 ½ stars", a must play rating, in 1996 and 1997. In 1997 Chateau Whistler Golf Club became a member of "Great Golf Resorts of the World" and Golf Magazine named the club a "Gold Medal Resort", their highest award. |

Nicklaus North Golf ClubThe Whistler Golf Club was chosen by Arnold Palmer as the site for his first Canadian design. Built in 1983 and renovated in 2000, the par-72, 6676-yard layout has nine lakes, two winding creeks and rolling greens all situated below Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. To complement its first class course, the Whistler Golf Club is now home to a brand new clubhouse featuring an expanded 1300-square-foot Pro Shop and a 50-seat bar and grill and an 80 seat deck overlooking the 18th green. The Pro Shop is stocked with the latest in golf attire, equipment and accessories. Top of the line rental equipment is also available. GOLF Magazine has awarded the Whistler Golf Club its Silver Medal, distinguishing it as one of the best golf resorts in the world.
