Magic Bike Park
Starting in the Magic Chair Beginner Area above
the base of Blackcomb, riders gain a
non-intimidating introduction to mountain
biking. Whether it's the skills used by the pros
or just getting a taste of our beginner trails,
you'll quickly find out one thing: You can do
it!
The Magic Park offers riders new trails, rentals through the Blackcomb Day lodge and easy access to the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. All Mountain Bike Park tickets provide free access to the Magic Park.
The Magic Park provides a perfect introduction to Park riding for young children and those new to the experience. The trails are wide, smooth and twisty, crossing bridges as they snake their way through the forest and over the creek underneath the Magic Chair. Share the Magic with someone you know.
Operating Dates: Open June 24 - September 4, 2006
Please note: there are no restrictions on the type of bikes permitted in the Magic Park. However, bikes must have V-brakes or disc brakes. Bikes with Coaster brakes will not be allowed in the Magic Park.
Magic Chair Clinics
For Level 1 mountain bikers only. Our experienced guides will cover all the basics in our skills area and then guide a descent on one of the new runs in the Magic Park.
