Via Ferrata

Experience a unique excursion to the summit of Whistler Peak, with exhilarating views and a vertical perspective you may not have thought possible. Popular in Europe, 'Via Ferrata' is Italian for 'Iron Way', a climbing route with permanently fixed cables for protection and metal ladder rungs to ease your movement over rock. With two routes to choose from, this unique experience is for guests of all abilities. No experience is necessary for either route and all equipment is included.

ROUTE: A moderate 4-hour tour combining glacier hiking with mountain climbing. Negotiate your way across Whistler glacier then climb the rock headwall using a series of iron ladder rungs and cables leading you to the summit of Whistler Peak. This tour
is suitable for ages 14 and up. No climbing experience is necessary. Average fitness level required.

Time: Daily mountain top departures at 12:30pm.
