Glacier Walk

Using boots, crampons and an ice axe, you will learn how to walk using glacier equipment and tour Whistler Glacier. Along the way, you will learn about the formation of glaciers and crevasses and have a chance to play on the ice and snow. No experience necessary. Great for younger families and people of all ages and abilities. Glacier equipment is included. 2.5 hour tour.

Glacier Hike

One of the most popular tours. Outfitted with boots, crampons, ice axe, harness and rope, your guide will lead you onto the glacier atop Whistler Mountain. Learn about glaciology and how to ascend the glacier like a mountaineer. At the top, enjoy the stunning alpine vistas before descending. No experience necessary - moderate fitness and agility required. Suitable for families with children 12 and up. Glacier equipment is included. 3.5 hour tour.

Mountaineering

Join your guide in an exciting adventure to the top of Blackcomb Mountain via the classic Blackcomb Buttress route. The approach is made easy by using the ski lifts and a hike to the base of the peak. The Buttress provides a mix of scrambling and low fifth class roped climbing with short cruxes on beautifully featured rock and generous ledges for belays. You do not need to be an experienced rock climber or mountaineer to tackle this climb. Offered daily.
